Steamship La Savoie, French Line
Lithograph print featuring an illustration of the French Line steamship La Savoie, newly built when this print was published in 1900. On either side of the illustration are scenes of Paris and New York City, as well as portraits of George Washington and Lafayette. This is likely meant to illustrate the historic partnership between the United States and France, further highlighted by the French Line company flags flying in the scene of New York City.
