The Ship History Center is always willing to take in volunteers. Work with staff members to process collections, maintain our library, prepare materials, and be surrounded by various maritime artifacts and resources while gain experience.

“I get to do a lot of fun things with my time. I am

responding to research requests. I get to take in
donations and package them in preservation paper
or display cases. I read every piece of paper so that
I can add a description to our online catalog for
members. It feels like an awesome brain game every day.”
